LA ESCOBILLA It is a long beach, with fine white sand that highlights the blue and green tones of its waters. The swell is strong, and the slope is regular. Playa Escobilla is also known by the name of “Playa Tortuguera”, thanks to a unique phenomenon that occurs in the months of June to September: in what is known as “arribazón”, in which thousands of turtles arrive to spawn on the beach, we can appreciate in their natural habitat some species of sea turtles, the most reproduced in this area is the GOLFINA turtle and the GREEN OF THE PACIFIC, sometimes we find the species of LAUD turtle which is in danger of extinction.
